RESERVATIONS: Advance payment of $300 per person
(Single supplement - +$300.00) in check form is required to make a firm
reservation. Balance of payment is due March 15, 2005
PASSPORT AND VISAS: Any participants in Russian Waterways Program
require a valid passport and Russian Visa. We will gladly assist you in
obtaining your Russian Visa at no additional charge. We will not be responsible
for the refusal of any visa to an individual by a consulate. In the event
that visa refusal causes late cancellation, the cancellation fees outlined
below will apply.
INSURANCE: We strongly recommend the purchase of comprehensive travel
insurance covering accident, medical, baggage and trip cancellation. It is
available from us.
PRICE CHANGES: Voyage prices are based on tariffs and exchange rates
in effect at time of printing. Changes in tariffs, exchange rates, and costs
of fuel oils, labor and materials sometimes alter the cost of tour
arrangements substantially, and we reserve the right to alter our prices
accordingly.
AIR FARES: Airfares in this brochure are those in effect at time of
printing and are subject to change. We will issue trans-Atlantic air tickets
in conjunction with these Cruises. Fares are based 00 the APEX (Advance
Purchase) fare. Tickets must be issued at least 21 days prior to departure
and are subject to a cancellation charge of $100 per ticket once they are
issued.
UNUSED ARRANGEMENTS: Because our voyage prices are based on group
participation, NO refunds are made for any feature or service that you do not
take. If you cancel while the cruise is in progress, there will be no refund
for the portion you do not take. For this reason we strongly recommend that
you purchase trip-cancellation insurance from us.
ITINERARY DEVIATIONS: We reserve the right without prior notice to
change routings or sequences, to change or alter sightseeing tours mentioned
in itineraries. Every effort will be made to adhere to the itinerary as
stated; however, due to schedule change and changes beyond the tour
operator's and/or airline's control, some change of sequence may be
necessary.
BAGGAGE: Free baggage allowance on trans-Atlantic flights is two bags
per person. First bag must not exceed 62"; second bag must not exceed
55". Carry-on bags exceeding 45" must be checked. However, weight
limit on checked baggage is 44 lbs. per person in economy class. Excess
baggage is subject to airline charge and is the passengers' own
responsibility. All baggage is carried at owner's own risk. Every care
will be taken to protect your baggage, but the tour operator cannot accept
any responsibility for loss or damage to baggage or belongings. For your
protection we recommend that you purchase insurance including baggage loss
coverage.
CANCELLATIONS: All cancellations must be received in writing and the
following fees will be assessed:
- Full refund will
be made less a $50 per person administrative fee if a cancellation is
received 90 or more days prior to departure.
- A cancellation fee of
$300 per person will be assessed if cancellation is received between 60
and 89 days prior to departure.
- For cancellations
received between 30 and 59 days prior to departure, 50% of the total
Land/cruise price will be assessed.
- No refunds can be made
for cancellations received less than 30 days prior to departure.
- No refunds are allowed
for any unused portion of the tour.
Since these conditions are strictly enforced, we strongly
recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance, available from
us.

RESPONSIBILITY: GT Corp. hereafter referred
to as the tour operator, and/or the travel agent, acts only as agent for the
various companies, owners or contractors providing the means of
transportation, accommodations and other services pertaining to the
tour.
All exchange orders,
coupons, vouchers and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions
under which such means of transportation accommodation and other services are
offered or provided. The issuance and acceptance of such documentation shall
he deemed to he consent to the further condition that. The travel agent
and/or GT Corp. and/or its agent shall not be in any way liable for
injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity in any vehicle or
through the act or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the
passengers, or of any hotel proprietor, personnel or servant or of any other
person otherwise in connection therewith.
The travel agent and/or GT
Corp. and/or its agents cannot accept any responsibilities for losses or
additional expenses due to delay or changes in air or other services,
sickness, weather, strike, war, quarantine or other causes. All such losses
or expenses will have to be borne by the passenger, as tour rates provide for
arrangements only for the time stated. The purchase of travel and accident
insurance through your travel agent is recommended. Each exchange order,
coupon, voucher and ticket is to be regarded as one contracted by or on
behalf of the particular company or person named in it.
The tour operator
reserves the sole right to eliminate any tour or feature and to make changes
in the itinerary as it may be necessary or desirable and to decline to accept
or retain any person as a member of the tour for the whole or any part of the
tour should it be deemed advisable for any reason.
The cruise ship
owner/operator and other transportation companies concerned are not to be
held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers
are not on hoard their carriers or conveyances No refund will be made for any
unused portion of this program. The passenger contract issued by the cruise
ship owner/operator and transportation companies shall constitute the sole
contract between the cruise ship owner/operator and transportation companies
and the purchaser of this tour and/or passage.
Airlines concerned are
not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time
passengers are not on hoard their aircraft. The airlines concerned are
responsible only for the air travel portion of this tour performed by it on
behalf of the tour participants in accordance with the terms and conditions
of their individual passage contracts and subject to applicable laws,
treaties and regulations governing air transportation Tour services including
but not limited to carriage by land or sea guide services, hotel
accommodations, restaurants and all services other than carriage by air, are
furnished by contractors who are independent and do not act for or on behalf
of the airlines and the airlines shall not be responsible for any act,
omission or event occurring prior to the tour participant's embarkation upon
or after his disembarkation from the airlines' aircraft. The usual passage
contract used by the airlines when issued, shall constitute the sole contract
between the airlines and the tour participant; and in purchasing a passage
contract as part of this tour, the participant acknowledges and accepts the foregoing
conditions. The payment for reservations on this tour shall constitute
consent to all provisions in the General Conditions published herein.

we accept no responsibility whatsoever for any error or misdescription
