Day By Day Itinerary

Friday,  December 11

    This morning we will board a deluxe motor coach for a delightful Christmas experience in the Twin Cities.  We will have an included luncheon at one of the Old Country Buffet restaurants in the Twin Cities.  A Christmas tradition in Minneapolis has been visiting the 8^th floor auditorium in Dayton’s department store, now carried on by Macy’s.  This afternoon we will experience the wonderment of the annual holiday display with the 2009 theme being announced at a later date. For your evening entertainment you will be attending “Away in the Basement,” at the Plymouth Playhouse.   The Church Basement Ladies are back again with their hilarious antics in this brand new show featuring all new songs and the down-to-earth humor audiences have grown to love.  It is 1959 and the day of the Sunday School Christmas Program, Tis the season for merriment and laughter with “Away in the Basement!” Our evening stay will be at the 

Best Western Kelly Inn motel in Plymouth. 

Saturday, December 12

After a continental breakfast we will continue our Christmas Experience with a stop at the Mall of America.  Enjoy a leisurely luncheon or experience the unique features of our Nation’s largest retail and entertainment complex.  This afternoon we will make our way to Lakeville for the presentation of “Country Christmas Celebration” at the Celebration Event Center for a 3:30 p.m. show.  This show, with Lowell Lundstrom, kicks off the 12th great year.  Lowell will be joined on stage with a cast of over 70 including comedians, steppers, singers and a full band.  This will conclude our exciting two days Christmas Experience in the Twin Cities with an early evening arrival back home.
