Tuesday, September 27
Today we will be boarding our deluxe motor coach to the famous Scandinavian Celebration of the year, Høstfest. Tens of thousands of people attend this event every year and partake in the Scandinavian culture and entertainment. Over 200 internationally recognized artisans, craftsmen and chefs participate. The experience is an eclectic array of contemporary and traditional. We will enjoy an included buffet lunch en route. The next three evenings our accommodations will be at the Best Western Doublewood Inn at Bismarck, North Dakota.
Wednesday, September 28
After breakfast, we will travel to Minot for Høstfest where you will enjoy the great Scandinavian food, arts, crafts and music of the "land across the sea." A wide variety of music and comedy is featured. Many new acts as well as crowd favorites from past years will again perform on the 6 side stages. New entertainers to the festival include The Ingemars, Ann-Marita and Geitungen from Norway; The Boundary Water Boys and Telegraph Road from Minnesota; Jeremiah James, Wayne Kabanuk from North Dakota and The Lowe Family Show from Nashville, and many more; Adbacadabra returns, as well as Williams & Ree, Bjøro Haaland, The Oak Ridge Boys, Leah Durelle and many other favorites. Today you have the option of an afternoon concert to enjoy the Grammy Award-winning, American country music singer, Martina McBride with reserved seating in the Great Hall of Vikings.
Thursday, September 29
Following breakfast, we will again return to Høstfest, savoring the fine culinary creations of Høstfest's Scandinavian celebrity chefs preparing distinctive foods representing their countries. You’ll also enjoy strolling musicians, entertainment in the aisles, including the Dance of the Norwegian Sweaters, and the factor that makes Høstfest most memorable, the friendly people. This afternoon you will have the optional concert of once-in-a-generation baritone voice, Trace Adkins, with reserved seating. Besides the daily entertainment, you can enjoy the wool spinning, weaving, pottery, wood carving and rosemaling which are demonstrated by talented, international-acclaimed Scandinavian, American and Canadian craftsmen. Finish the afternoon browsing in the Viking Market, where you can purchase colorful Swedish Bastad clogs, Norwegian wool sweaters, Laila perfume, Solje jewelry, Finnish knives and glassware, Danish iron and candles, Icelandic sweaters and jackets, books and much more!

After breakfast, we will journey home through the farmlands of North Dakota and Minnesota, again being treated to a buffet lunch en route. This will conclude our exciting four day Scandinavian adventure to the Norsk Høstfest.
